Hub Doubling

Broken Wing Tip

Obverse 6 is identified by date placement at RH and Class I hub doubling that features clockwise rotation on all letters of the legend, eye, beak, tail and denticles.

Reverse F exhibits thin denticles on the lower half.

Comments:  Obverse 6 was hubbed from a working hub that featured a missing tip on the right wing.  The missing tip of the wing was repaired on the Obverse 6 working die, which now has the appearance of a broken wing tip rather than a missing one.
