Cud Between 5:00 and 6:45


Obverse 2 is observed with date placement at LE.  Obverse 2 exhibits strike weakness located at 'STA(TES)' and '(O)F' due to the increased metal demand to the fill the void created by the Reverse B cud.

Type I Reverse B has developed a cud between 5:00 and 6:45.

Comments:  Variety 1 was first identified in 'The Cud Book' by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis with a reference number of FEC-1858-13R.  The above plate coin is the FEC-1858-13R Plate Coin in 'The Cud Book'.
