Hub Doubling (Click Image To Enlarge)

Obverse 5 is identified by date placement at LH and Class III Desgin Hub Doubling of 'STA(TES)' and the right edge of Miss Liberty's eye lash.

Reverse E has yet to be observed with any die markers.

Comments:  The Obverse 5 hub doubling occurred when the Mint rehubbed Obverse 5 with a working hub with an unbroken 'STA(TES)' in order to correct the broken 'STA(TES)' of Obverse 5.  Since Obverse 5 was originally hubbed from a working hub with broken 'STA(TES)' and later rehubbed with a working hub with unbroken 'STA(TES)', the resulting class of doubled die is Class III Design Hub Doubling.
