The bar under the 2 is an artifact from the digit punch and has been
identified on two seperate working dies thus far. I think it
would be superfluous to list every die pair with this anomaly, so I
have only used Scott Krezinski's coin to illustrate the variety.
This is the plate coin for Rick Snow's 1862 Snow 3b and it
was
the piece that confirmed this was a digit punch issue and will be seen
on different working dies.
