Die Crack In Wreath Between 3:15 and 3:45

Die Crack In Wreath At 10:00


Obverse 42 is observed with date placement at RE and repaired tops of STA(TE)S.

Reverse AP is rotated 11 degrees clockwise and has developed a retained cud between 11:30 and 12:30.  Reverse AP has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 12:45 downward through the right wreath to the rim at 2:15.
2.  Die crack along the outer edge of the right wreath between 3:15 and 3:45.
3.  Die crack along the outer edge of the left wreath at 10:00.

Comments:  Variety 40 was initially identified by this author during late February 2019.
