Reverse K Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 10 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the southwest below the base of the 8, 6 and 4.  Obverse 10 is also identified by a die gouge from the lower edge of the headband and a die line through the eye, digit punch artifacts around the 4 and a repaired top of 'STAT(E)S'.  Obverse 10 has acquired clash marks in front of the eye of Miss Liberty and between feathers 7, 8, and 9 from a clashing event with Reverse K.  Obverse 10 has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack that extends along a prominent die striation from the top of '(U)NITED'.
2.  Die crack connecting the tops of 'UNIT(ED) (S)TATES'.

Reverse K is rotated 4 degrees clockwise and is identified by three lint hub-through artifacts located on the outer oak leaf at 2:30.  Obverse K has acquired clash marks to the left of the denomination, through (C)ENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 10.  Reverse K has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 12:30 downward to the top right of the shield.
2.  Die crack segment extending from 1:15 to 2:00 along the outer edge of the right wreath.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 4:00 upward through the right wreath to the acorn at 9:00.
4.  Die crack segment extending across through the ribbon knot and lower oak leaf.
5.  Die crack from the rim at 9:00 upward through the outer edge of the left wreath
6.  Light die crack from the rim at 11:15 downward to the top left of the shield.

Comments:  Obverse 10 exhibits the effects of die polishing in the area of the denticles and the date area, which features a raised field area through the center of the date.

The Variety 2 die rotation of 4 degrees is a static rotational attribute of this die pairing.  As a result, the clashing event between Obverse 10 and Reverse K occurred during this rotation.
