Rev. AAF.2 Retained Cud Between 9:00 and 9:30

Obverse 30 is observed with date placement at C.

Reverse AAF is rotated 176 degrees counter clockwise.  Reverse AAF has acquired clash marks to the left of the denomination and has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 6:30 extends upward into the olive leaf above the arrow quill.
Rev. AAF.2:  Reverse AAF is rotated 177 degrees counter clockwise and has developed a retained cud between 9:00 and 9:30.
Rev. AAF.3:  Reverse AAF is rotated 176 degrees counter clockwise and the retained portion of the break from the AAF.2 Die State is absent resulting in a full cud.

Comments:  Variety 22 was first identified by this author during early December 2015.

Variety 22a was first identified by this aurthor during early May 2017.
