Reverse AAX.2 Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 47 is observed with date placement at C.  Obverse 47 has acquired clash marks in front of the neck and eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse AAX.
Obv. 47.2:  Obverse 47 has developed a die crack segment that extends from the flag of the 1 to '(U)NITED'.

Reverse AAX is identified by a heavy, localized area of die rust below the shield, within (ON)E, within C(EN)T and below C(EN)T.  Reverse AAX has acquired clash marks to the left of the shield and to the left of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 47.
Rev. AAX.2:  Reverse AAX has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 12:30 extends downward along the top of the shield.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 9:30 extends into the left wreath.

Comments:   The Reverse AAX die rust is quite dramatic in severity and distinctive in shape.  The Variety 30 die pairing was first identified by Tom Reynolds, who submitted an MS65 brown example to Rick Snow for attribution.
