Nickel Proof 1
Obverse 1 is observed with date placement at RE.
Reverse A has yet to be observed with any die markers.
Comments: All
proof copper nickel cents were struck from the proof 1 die pairing.
During the subsequent change to bronze planchets, the proof 1
die pairing wll continue in service striking proof bronze cents along
with three other die pairings.
