Die Crack From The Rim at 5:45

Partial Cud Between 7:00 and 8:00

Obverse 42 is observed with date placement at B.

Reverse AAV is rotated 11 degrees clockwise and develops a partial cud between 7:00 and 8:00.  Reverse AAV develops the following die cracks:
1.  Moderately heavy die crack from the rim at 5:45 into the knot.
2.  Die crack just before 8:00 into the olive leaves.

Comments:  The Reverse AAV partial cud between 7:00 and 8:00 exhibits a bi-level area at 8:00 and a severe die crack from 7:00.  Based on the severity of this section of Reverse AAV, I anticipate a break during a subsequent die state.

Variety 15 was first identified by this author during late August 2018.

Plate coin:  Keith Bock Collection, G6
