Comments:  Rick Snow of Eagle Eye Rare Coins was extremely kind in allowing me to use his images to illustrate Variety 1 for this book.  The above plate coin is the finest known of the Variety 1 die pairing and I am pleased to have been granted permission to use Rick's images of it.
