Reverse V Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 24 is identified by date placement at RE, hub-through artifacts around 'LIB' of LIBERTY and die file marks below the final S of STATES.

Reverse V is identified by a hub-through artifact on the left side of the O of ONE.  Reverse V has acquired a clash mark to the right of T of CENT and has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Light die crack from the denticles at 11:30 through the top of the shield and exiting at the denticles at 12:45.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 2:15 upward through the right wreath.
3.  Die crack from die crack #2 downward through the right wreath.
4.  Moderately heavy die crack from the rim at 3:45 downward through the middle and lower arrowheads, right ribbon end and wreath stem to the rim at 6:00.
5.  Moderately heavy die crack from the rim at 6:00 and through the olive leaves.
6.  Die crack from the rim at 7:45 into the middle olive leaf.
7.  Die crack from the rim at 8:15 into the top olive leaf.
8.  Die crack from the rim at 9:15 downward through the left wreath.
9.  Die crack from the denticles at 11:45 downward through the left wreath.
Rev. V.2:  Reverse V has developed a partial cud between 6:00 and 8:15.

Comments:  Reverse V is extensively cracked, with the most severe die crack located at 6:00 and extending to the left through the olive leaves.  This die crack creates a bi-level field area from the rim to the left ribbon end.  During the Reverse V.2 incremental die state, the aforementioned die crack has created a much more severe bi-level field area from the rim to the left ribbon end and a partial cud has developed between 6:00 and 8:15.

Variety 22 and 22a were identified by this author during mid February and late January of 2019 respectively.
