Obverse 26 is identified by date placement at C and die file marks that are located in front of the forehead, above the ear and below the ear of Miss Liberty.  Obverse 26 has developed the following die cracks:

2.  Die crack from the denticles at 7:00 across through the bases of the 187 of the date.
3.  Die crack from the denticles at 9:45 extends downward and connects the tops of 'UN(ITED)'.

Reverse X is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and has acquired clash marks through (C)ENT and to the right of the denomination.  Reverse X has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 11:15 extends downward into the upper left side of the shield.

Comments:  Several 1875 obverses exhibit die file marks similar in location to that of Obverse 26.  Recognizing the direction that the die file marks extend and the specific obverse attributes of each obverse will be necessary for accurate attributions.
