Repunched 8 to the East |
Obverse 10 is identified by date repunching to the east within the lower
loop of the 8, with date placement at B. Obverse 10 has
developed moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.
Reverse J is in a similar die state as Obverse 10, with the advancement
of moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.
Comments: Variety
6 was first identified by Ed Nathanson, who was very kind in allowing
me to use his images to illustrate Variety 6 for this book.
Ed's coin is the discovery piece and the plate coin for Snow
5 in Rick Snow's attribution guide.
