Comments:  During mid August 2017, I had contacted Ed Nathanson in regard to using the above plate coin to illustrate Variety 23 for this book.  Upon examination of Ed's coin, I had identifed the base of a second misplaced 8 digit directly south of the misplaced digit between the first and second hair curls that was previoulsy identified in 2000.  The newly identified misplaced digit indicates two separate date impressons into the portrait, although the misplaced digit between the ribbon and first hair curl appears to be the result of a singular impression.

Plate coin:  Ed Nathanson, XF40
