Rev. AG.2 Retained Cud Between 8:45 and 10:30

Rev. AG.2 Retained Cud between 11:30 and 12:30

Obverse 33 is identified by the base of a misplaced 8 digit between the left and right lower hair curls with date placement at RH.  Obverse 33 develops the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 7:00 connecting the bases of the 188 of the date.

Reverse AG has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the olive leaves upward through the left wreath to a point at 10:00.
Rev. AG.2:   Reverse AG develops a retained cud between 11:30 and 12:30, with another retained cud between 8:45 and 10:30.

Comments:  The formation of the two retained cuds of Reverse AG is an uncommon occurrence.  Since most working dies that sustained one major die break were retired from service, it is curious that Reverse AG was still in service with two major die breaks.

Variety 31a was first identified by this author during early December 2016.
