Clash Mark Through The C Of CENT


Obverse 36 is observed with date placement at RE.  Obverse 36 has developed moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.

Reverse AJ is in a similar die state as Obverse 36, with the advancement of moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.  Reverse AJ has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT and has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Moderately heavy die crack from the denticles at 6:30 upward through the left wreath to the denticles at 8:30.
2.  Light die crack from the denticles at 8:30 upward through the left wreath.

Comments:  Variety 34 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early February 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Reverse AJ die cracking.
