Clash Marks

Obverse 69 is identified by date placement at right half of denticle and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the west within the upper loop of the second 8 digit and to the north within the upper loop of the 9 digit. Obverse 69 has acquired a relatively heavy clash mark from a previous die pairing.

Reverse AAO has acquired a light clash mark through (C)ENT.

Variety 68 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during late September 2025 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 69.
