Die Flow Lines

Obverse 4 is identified by date placement at C and Class IV offset hub doubling on 'TATES' of STATES, OF, 'AMER' of AMERICA and LIBERTY.  Obverse 4 has developed moderately heavy die flow lines.

Reverse D is rotated 7 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 4, with the advancement of moderately heavy die flow lines.

Comments:  Although the Obverse 4 doubling is a product of Class IV offset hub doubling, the additional Class VIII tilted hub doubling is employed in conjunction with the Class IV hub doubling to describe the lack of doubling on the southern part of Obverse 4 due to the skewd state of the working die and/or working hub during the hubbing process of Obverse 4.
