Hub-through Artifact At 1:45 In Right Wreath


Obverse 31 is identified by date placement at B and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the north above the serif of the first 1.  Obverse 31 has developed moderately heavy die flow lines.

Reverse AE is identified by a hub-through artifact at 1:45 in the right wreath.  Reverse AE is in a similar die state as Obverse 31, with the advancement of moderately heavy die flow lines.

Comments:  Variety 28 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid November 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 31.
