Die Crack From 4:30


Obverse 7 is identified by date placement at LE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the east within the lower loop of the 8, within both loops of the 9 and within the upper loop of the 3. Obverse 7 has developed heavy die flow lines.

Reverse G is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 7, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.  Reverse G has developed the following die crack:
1.  Heavy die crack from the rim at 4:30 upward through the lower and middle arrowheads.

Comments:  The Variety 5 working die rotation of 6 degrees is most likely static in nature and will be a static attribute of the Variety 5 die pairing.
