Obverse 24 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the upper ball and within the upper loop of the 3.  Obverse 24 has developed heavy die flow lines and has acquired clash marks in front of the face and under the chin of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse X.

Reverse X is rotated 8 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 24, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.  Reverse X has acquired clash marks through the C of CENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 24.

Comments:  Obverse 24 and Reverse X clashed during a working die rotation of 8 degrees.  The 8 degree die rotation is most likely a static rotational attribute of Variety 22 and will be found on all examples of Variety 22.

Variety 22 was first identified by David killough, who submitted the above plate coin during late July 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 24 date repunching.
