Obverse 7 is identified by date placement at LE and repunching on the 895 to the southeast, with additional repunching to the north on the 5.  Obverse 7 is in an advanced die state with the presence of  moderately heavy die flow lines.

Reverse F is in a similar die state as obverse 7, with the presence of moderately heavy die flow lines.

Comments:  Obverse 7 and reverse F clash during this die pairing, though the clash marks have been eroded away due to the progression of die flow lines.  It should be noted that a die rotation of 4.5 degrees was measured and that the location of the clash mark through C of CENT indicates that the variety 2 die clashing occurred during this rotation.

Variety 2 is included in the top 100 die varieites due to the dramatic repunching on the 5.  Locating variety 2 should not be excessively difficult since the die state suggests a high cent production.

Plate coin:  D. Poliquin Collection, MS63BN
