Clash Mark In Front Of Eye


Obverse 13 is identified by date placement at LH and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the east of the upright and to the south below the base of the 1; to the east within both loops and the outside of the upper loop of the 8; to the east within the lower loop of the 9; to the south below the flag, to the east above the lower loop and to the east within the lower loop of the 5.  Obverse 13 has acquired a light clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty.

Reverse L is rotated 7 degrees clockwise, which is static rotational attribute of the Variety 9 Die Pairing.

Comments:  Obverse 13 features two separate initial date impressions to the east of the upright of the 1, to the east within the lower loop of the 8 and to the east from the upper loop of the 8.
