Variety 31
Obverse 34 is identified by date placement at B with date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the south within the center
of the 5. Obverse 34 has developed heavy die flow lines.
Reverse
AG is in a similar die state as Obverse 34, with the advancement of
heavy die flow lines.
Comments: Variety
31 has not experienced any die clashing events or developed any die
cracking during its service.
Variety 31 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the
above plate coin during late July 2017 for inclusion in this book based
on the Obverse 34 date repunching.
