Obverse 41 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the north above the flag of the 5 digit.  Obverse 41 is observed with a die line extending downward through the serif of the 1 digit and another die line located within the lower loop of the 9 digit.

Reverse AN is observed with a die line located to the right of the arrow quill.

Comments:  Variety 38 has neither suffered any clashing events nor has developed any die cracking.
