Obverse 31 is identified by date placement at B, the top of a misplaced 9 digit in the denticles below and to the left of the first 9 and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif of the 1 and to the south within the upper loop, below the left side of the upper loop and below the base of the 8.  Obverse 31 has acquired clash marks in front of the eye of Miss Liberty and between feathers 7, 8 and 9 from a clashing event with Reverse AE.

Reverse AE has acquired clash marks through (C)ENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 31.

Comments:  Despite the presence of relatively heavy die flow lines due to advanced die usage, neither Obverse 31 nor Reverse AE have developed die cracking.
