Repunched 19 to the South |
Obverse 17 is observed with date placement at RE and repunching to the
south on the 19. Obverse 17 is initially in its earliest die
state and during a subsequent die state, will develop a comma shaped
rim break below the chin. The die break will develop into a
triangular shape.
Reverse Q is in its earliest die state and yet to be observed with any
die markers, other than the right shield point and olive leaf connected
to the denticles .
Comments: The die break that develops under the chin was
given the moniker "Spiked Chin" by Rick Snow.
