Obverse Diagnostics
Date Position | Right Base of a Misplaced 1 | Closeup of Misplaced 1 |
Obverse
16 is identified by the right side of the base of a 1 digit extending
into the field below the truncation, with date placement at LH.
Obverse 16 is observed with light die flow lines.
Reverse Q is in a similar die state as Obverse 16, with light die flow lines.
Comments: The
anomaly under the truncation most certainly appears to be the
right base of a 1 digit, but there is another unidentified artifact
directly above the base of the misplaced 1. The artifact is not
as defined as the misplaced digit, so it is difficult to determine
exactly what it is.
