Clash Marks Located To Right Of Denomination


Obverse 21 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the bases of the 1, 0 and 3.  Obverse 21 has acquired a clash mark between feathers 7 and 8 from a clashing event with Reverse V.

Reverse V has acquired clash marks to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 21.

Comments:  Variety 22 may be characterized by an Obverse featuring minor date repunching and a reverse that is deeply hubbed on the right side and exhibiting thin denticles between 6:30 and 9:30.
