Obverse 28 is identified by microscopic repunching to the south on the middle section of the 3, with date placement at RH.  Obverse 28 develops clash marks in front of the eye of Miss Liberty, moderate die flow lines and three rim breaks between 4:30 and 5:30.

Reverse AC is observed with a moderately large die break within the bottom right of N of CENT and a solitary die polish line above the shield.  Reverse AC is in a similar die state as Obverse 28, with the development of moderate flow lines.

Comments:  The point of interest for Variety 29 is the die break of Reverse AC.  The die break is identifed by a bulging at the lower right of the N of CENT due to additional metal flow into the void casused by the die break.

Variety 29 was first identified by this author during mid January 2016.

Plate coin:  Gary Hamm Collection, MS60BN
