Clash Mark To The Right and Above O Of ONE

Obverse 32 is identified by date placement at B and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif and base as well as to the north above the left and right base of the 1.  Obverse 32 has now developed heavy die flow lines.

Reverse AH may be identified by a raised area to the right of the left leg of N of ONE.  Reverse AH is in a similar die state as Obverse 32, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.  Reverse AH has acquired clash marks above and to the left of the O of ONE as well as through the C of CENT.

Comments:  Variety 34 represents the second die pairing of Obverse 32, which was previously in service paired with Reverse AG during the Variety 33 die pairing.

The Obverse 32.2 initial date impressions are not as distinct, which is due to the development of heavy die flow lines.  Similarly, if any additional die clash marks were acquired by Obverse 32 from a clashing event with Reverse AH, then they too may be indistinct due to the Obverse 32.2 die state.

Variety 34 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid November 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 32 date repunching.
