Clash Mark Through (C)ENT


Obverse 12 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the north above serif of the 1, to the south below the upper loop of the 9, to the south below the base of the 0 and to the south below all elements of the 7.  Obverse 12 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse L.

Reverse L has acquired a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 12.

Comments:  The clash marks of Variety 10 are partially obscured by the moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines that have developed on Obverse 12 and Reverse L.
