Obverse 35 is identified by date placement at RE with date repunching
that features an initial date impression to the west of the 0, south
under the flag of the 7 and east from the right side of the 7.
Reverse AI is yet to be observed with any die markers.
Comments: Variety 33 was
first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin
during mid February 2017 for inclusion in this book based on the date
repunching of Obverse 35. Examination of the initial digit punch
artifacts around the 7 reveal they are at differing directions with
respect to each other. It should be noted that the initial digit
punch impression was rotated counter clockwise with respect to the
final date impression, which would result in the initial digit punch
artifacts being present both under the flag of the 7 and to the right
of the 7.
