Obverse 54 is identified by date placement at LE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the base of the 1 and below the upper loop of the 9.

Reverse AAB is rotated 7 degrees clockwise and has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 7:45 upward through the left wreath.
Rev. AAB.2:  The Reverse AAB die crack has now become more severe, with a triangular shaped die break developing below the upper olive leaf.

Comments:  The Obverse 54 initial date impression below the upper loop of the 9 was previously unidentified prior to publication in this book during late May 2020.

The Variety 52a Plate Coin was requested by this author from David Killough, who subsequently submitted the coin during mid May 2020.
