Clash Mark Connecting STATE(S) With 1st Feather

Obverse 67 is observed with date placement at LH. Obverse 67 has developed heavy die flow lines and has acquired clash marks above the first three feathers and another that connects STATE(S) with the 1st feather from a clashing event with Reverse AAN. Obverse 67 develops the following die crack:
1. Heavy die crack from the center of the lower jaw of Miss Liberty that progresses upward around the chin and through the lower and upper lips.
Obv. 67.2: The die crack now extends outward and downward from the upper lip, where it connects with the chin of Miss Liberty.
Obv. 67.3: A die break now develops that connects the lower lip and upper lip.

Reverse AAN is in a similar die state as Obverse 67, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines. Reverse AAN has acquired a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 67.

Comments: During mid January 2019, David Killough submitted the Variety 65a Plate Coin based on his identification of date repunching of Obverse 67 that was previously unidentified, as well as providing this author with a viable example in order to illustrate the Variety 65 die pairing for this book. During mid July 2019, David submitted two more examples, which are the Variety 65 and 65b Plate Coins, for the sake of providing a progression sequence for the Obverse 67 die break.
