Die Crack From 2:15

Die Crack Between 3:15 and 4:15

Obverse 82 is observed with date placement at RH.

Reverse AAAC has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Light die crack from the rim at 2:15 upward into the right wreath.
2.  Modetately heavy die crack between 3:15 and 4:15.

Comments:  There is a very good possibility that Reverse AAAC may develop a break between 3:15 and 4:15 during a subsequent die state, based on the fact that a slight bi-level field area has developed at 4:15.  Bi-level field areas that form from rim to rim die cracks generally portend a future die break.

Variety 80 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid November 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Reverse AAAC die cracks.
