Comments:
Date placement is B. Obverse 4 is identified by repunching
on the 18 to the south and repunching to the north on the 65.
Obverse 4 is observed with at least two sets of clash marks in
front of the face and under the chin of Miss Liberty. These are
most likely from a clash event with reverse C. In addition, there
is a die crack above TES of STATES that terminates into the rim at
11:30.
Reverse
C is identified by a die chip on the N of ONE. As with the
obverse, the reverse is observed with at leat two sets of clash marks
by the O of ONE and to the right of the denomination. Clashing
occured while the reverse was rotated clockwise at different degrees of
rotation. Rick Snow indicates that reverse C develops two die
cracks:
1. Die crack from wreath at 9:30 to the rim at 9:00
2. Die crack from wreath to rim at 10:30
