Reverse N Die Crack Mapping


Retained Cud Between 8:00 and 8:30


Obverse 11 is observed with date placement at RE.

Reverse N has developed a small retained cud between 8:00 and 8:30.  Reverse N develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the top right side of the shield into the denticles at 12:30.
2.  Die crack from the retained cud continuing down through the wreath and into the denticles at 5:30.

Comments:  Variety 11 was first brought to my attention by the above plate coin listed within the inventory of Dan Pilsbury of Clarity Numismatics.  Dan was extremely kind in granting me permission to use his images to illustrate Variety 11 for this book.
