Clash Mark Through (C)ENT

Radial Die Crack From 9:30


Obverse 37 is identified by date placement at C and dae repunching that features initial date impressions to the east within both loops of the 8 and 9 as well as under the flag of the 7.  Obverse 37 has developed heavy die flow lines and has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse AK.

Reverse AK is in a similar die state as Obverse 37, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.  Reverse AK has acquired a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 37.  Reverse AK develops the following die crack:
1.  Radial die crack from the rim at 9:30 through the left wreath.

Comments:  The Obverse 37 clash mark is evident, but has faded due to the development of heavy die flow lines.
