Obverse 7 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the northwest within the lower loops of the 8 and final 9.  Obverse 7 has developed moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines and has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse G.
Obv. 7.2:  The Obverse 7 die flow lines have now become incrementally more severe.

Reverse G is rotated 5 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 7, with the advancement of moderately heavy to heavy die flow lines.  Reverse G has acquired clash marks above (O)NE and through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 7.  Reverse G has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the upper right side of the shield to the top of the right wreath.
Rev. G.2:  The Reverse G die flow lines have now become incrementally more severe.

Comments:  Earlier die state examples of Variety 2 may exhibit an additional initial date impression located in the lower loop of the first 9.
