Obverse 18 is identified by date placement at right edge of denticle and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the west of the upper right side of the first 9 digit.  Obverse 18 has developed a die chip within the upper loop of the second 9 digit and Obverse 18 is observed with artifacts within the lower loops of the 8 digit and both 9 digits.  Obverse 18 has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse R.

Reverse R has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 18.

Comments:  I suspect that the artifacts within the lower loops of the 8 digit and first 9 digit are additional initial date impressions.
