Variety 20
Obverse 24 is identified by date placement at LH and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the east outside the bottom
loop of the 8, to the east within the lower loop and outside of the
first 9 and to the east within the bottom of the upper loop and ball of
the last 9. Obverse 24 has developed moderately heavy die flow
lines and has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye from a clashing
event with Reverse X.
Reverse X is in a similar die state as Obverse 24, with the advancement
of moderately heavy die flow lines. Reverse X has acquired a
clash mark through the C of CENT from a clshing event with Obverse 24.
Comments: The
clash marks of Variety 20 will fade due to the advancement of die flow
lines.
