Die Flow Lines


Obverse 41 is identified by minor repunching to the south in the upper loop of the 8 and very minor repunching to the south in the upper loop of the first 9, with date placement at C.  Obverse 41 has developed heavy die flow lines and has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye from a clashing event with Reverse AO.

Reverse AO is in a similar die state as Obverse 41, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.  Reverse AO has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT from a clashing event with Obverse 41.

Comments:  Variety 37 was first identified by this author during early May 2017.
