Obverse 47 is identified by date placement at RE and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the north above the upper
loop of the first 9 and to the north above and within the upper loop of
the final 9. Obverse 47 has developed moderately heavy die flow
lines.
Reverse
AU is in a similar die state as Obverse 47, with the advancement of moderately heavy die flow lines.
Comments: Variety 43 was
first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin
during mid January 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse
47 date repunching.
