Obverse 52 is identified by date placement at RH and minor date repunching that features initial date impressions within and below the upper loop of the first 9. Obverse 52 has developed a small die break atop the eighth feather.

Reverse AZ is rotated 5 degrees clockwise.

Comments: Variety 48 was first identified by Paul Nomes, who submitted the above plate coin during late June 2021 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 52.
