Obverse 26 is identified by date placement at LE and the tops of a misplaced 0 and 4 digits in the denticles below and to the left of the primary 0 and 4 of the date.
Obv. 26.2: Obverse 26 has developed heavier die flow lines and the following die cracks:
1. Radial die crack extending downward from the chin of Miss Liberty.
2. Light die crack connects the tops of 'UNIT(ED)'.

Reverse Z may be identified by a die line extending diagonally through the upper vertical shield bars.
Rev. Z.2: Reverse Z has developed heavier die flow lines, a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 26 and the following die cracks:
1. Die crack from the rim at 6:15 extends upward through the olive leaves.
2. Die crack from the rim at 8:45 extends upward through the left wreath.

Comments: The placement of the misplaced digits of Obverse 26 indicate an initial date impression located far to the southwest with respect to the final date placement.

The Variety 25a Plate Coin, which was submitted along with the Variety 25 Plate Coin by David Killough during mid May 2020, represents the latest die state of the Variety 25 Die Pairing yet identified.
