Reverse AAC.3 Clash Mark Through The C Of CENT


Obverse 53 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif and base of the 1; to the north above the upper loop and above the ball of the 9; to the south within the 0; to the north above the 6.
Obv. 53.2:  Obverse 53 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse AAC.

Reverse AAC has yet to observed with any die markers.
Rev. AAC.2:  Reverse AAC develops The following die cracks:
1.  Light die crack from 3:00 into the right wreath.
2.  Lightdie crack from 8:00 into the top olive leaf.
Rev. AAC.3:  The Reverse AAC die cracks from 3:00 and 8:00 are moderately more severe and Reverse AAC has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT from a clashing event with Obverse 53.

Comments:  The Obverse 53 initial date impression above the 9 will fade on some examples due to wear and/or die state.
