Die Chip On Top Left Corner Of Shield

Type II Obverse 9 is identified by date placement at B and a die line that extends from the mouth of Miss Liberty downward into the field towards 'UNI(T)ED'.

Reverse K is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and has developed a die chip located on the top left corner of the shield.

Comments:  The Type II Obverse 9 die line has been given the moniker 'Toothpick' due to its resemblance of a toothpick extending from the mouth of Miss Liberty.

The Reverse K die chip on the top left corner of the shield may be associated with a die crack, though the late die state of Reverse K makes it difficult to locate a die crack amongst the die flow lines.
