Reverse AB develops a retained cud between 8:30 and 9:45.
Comments:
The Reverse AB retained cud is very similar in size, shape
and location to the retained cud of Reverse N from the 1862 Variety 12 die pairing,
which develops a more shallow break than the Reverse AB break.
Variety 28 was first identified by Barbara A. Kollar, who listed this
coin for auction during late October 2017. Barbara was very
kind in
allowing me to use her images to illustrate Variety 26 for this book.
